Education Development in Himachal Pradesh

The development of education in Himachal Pradesh takes many years to complete it. Sometime the government was failed to complete the objectives but some time the government was completed the objective in less time. In this article i give you a small description about Education Development in Himachal Pradesh.

Before 1976, education was the exclusive responsibility of the state. The central government of India was only concerned with certain areas like co-ordinates and determination of standard in technical and higher education. In 1976, through the 42nd constitutional amendment, education was incorporated in the Concurrent list and became a joint responsibility of the Himachal Pradesh. But now Himachal Pradesh has many great educational institutions and best schools in state. The Himachal Pradesh government caters the many facilities in educational field but some time when the government was failed to complete the objective then Himachal government shares educational responsibility with Ministry of Human Resource Development to complete it.
Now Himachal Pradesh has great numbers of schools and colleges in every part of the Himachal Pradesh. And many numbers of programs have been started at the rural level to bring people of all ages under the National Literacy Mission.
Now Himachal Pradesh reaches at 2nd position in educational field.
