Paragliding is the most fun type sport, needs not much training. You can learn various skills by your own, during the flight. Kangra is the valley in Himachal Pradesh where many of national and international sports festivals are organized so far. So, this is really a joyful winter games as you can see all the snow covered area from the top.

This is the sport which has been recently introduced to Shimla; paragliding is the fast and emerging sport across the country. The high peaks of Himachal are the best for such a sport and it is found to have the most active sport in the Himachal in the last two years. This sport has its best part in the winters with the introduction of the snowfall and for the Para gliders; it becomes a heaven landing on the surface of the earth like the snow is really a matter of joy for them. This is the sport which makes you feel high since, it fills up your heart and mind with the fluid of joy and happiness, the joy you never experienced before.

This sport is the combination of parachuting and hang gliding. Many of the people thing that it is completely parachooting, but the truth is, it is much more than that, it doesn't need a vast area for landing and it lands so smoothly you can learn most of the skills during your flight and we hardly need any trainer to learn these skills as they can be learnt by their own. The chute is very light and you can get yourself adjusted in any terms and the whole process of your flight is very easy.

Kangra valley is considered the hub of such a sport. Since, 1984, this location is training the people about the paragliding and hang gliding. The pleasure and delight one feels here, is the feeling of eternity. The Billing peak has hosted three international and five national hang gliding and paragliding rallies. So, rush to kangra and get yourself exploded to the delight of this fun sport and enjoy your stay here in Himachal.
