Christmas celebration in Shimla

Christmas is an important festival of Christians and it is celebrated on 25th of December every year, the day on which Jesus Christ was born. 1. Shimla by bus-
Shimla is well connected with many places by bus. There are many direct buses from Chandigarh and Dehli. It takes around 4 hours from Chandigarh and 9 hours from Dehli to reach Shimla by bus.

2. Shimla by train-
Nearest broad gauge railway station is at Kalka which is 90 km away from Shimla and it takes around 3 hours by bus to reach Shimla from Kalka bus. Although Shimla also has narrow gauge railway station which is connected from Kalka but it takes more time than bus.
3. Shimla by air -
Shimla also has an airport which is well connected with Dehli airport and one can also opt this route to reach Shimla from Dehli.
