Winter Carnival comes to an end- Manali

It was a peaceful ending of Winter Carnival at Manali. The Carnival went all good and it organized various contests in which about thirty teams took an active part. Even the place is experiencing a bitter cold, even than the spirit of the contestants was not down at any level and they all performed in the best possible ways. This Carnival would be organized everyyear and would offer much to the youth of today.

Winter Carnival held at Manali came to a peaceful end. This Carnival organized various contests and various participants across the state and other parts of the country took an active part. Twenty eight teams took part in this Winter Carnival. Group Song competition trophy was won by Kullu time followed at second position by Millijulli team from Assam and last but not the least, third position is begged by Saraswati Kala Sangam Manali. It was really a great performance by three groups. Now, as everybody knows that fashion is emerging as a profession in our state at much rate, henceforth fashion show was also organized and it was the most vibrant part of the Carnival and all people enjoyed it a lot. The winner for this very competition was Jagriti Kala Manali, second winner was Millijulli team from Assam and at third position we have Saraswati Kala Sangam.
Presentation competition was also held and the winner for this competition was Millijulli team from Assam, Saraswati Kala Sangam Manali at second and at third position Rachna Nritya Rroup, Mumbai. So, accordingly western dance was also organized and in this competition Star Manali at third position, Friends Dancing Group Jammu at second and the first position was begged by Millijulli team from Assam. Well, there were other competitions which took place like comedy show and the list is more. Overall, the Carnival becomes a memorable part for the New Year.
Such a type of festival shows are really important, it not only makes the relation stronger with other states but also helps in extracting the talents out from the youth. The youth can sharpen their talents much and can get further chances in various fields for their chosen endeavors. Varun Sharma from Pathankot won the crown of Mister Carnival. It was on Friday when the results were declared out. Rajneesh Kumar got the second place and followed by Gaurav Verma at the third place. Further he added this Manali is very similar to Switzerland and one must come here and enjoy one of the most beautiful places of the state.
Suman and Subrat from Chamba and Manali respectively won the voice of Himalaya 2012. The most beautiful award was won by Ishani from Mandi. Even being one of the coldest places of the state that breeze chilly cold was unable to boost down the participants. The rhythm was maintained by these contestants to win their contests and the storm started from the first day itself till the fourth day. Fifth and the last day were full of surrounding people since it was a sunny day. As stated earlier the Winter Carnival consisted of twenty eight teams. It is expected that from next year onwards the local committee would take the cold in a better way.
