Solan celebrates Diwali

Soan is situated in Himachal Pradesh, in this district Diwali festival is celebrated in a different way. Firstly in the morning about 4 am people wake up and they burn some wood pieces on the roof and say happy Diwali to all the people who wakes up in the morning, they will say it for about 15 to 20 minutes continues after that they go back to room and in the day they keep their house clean. After that in the day people of villages collect some wasted papers and some of the wood pieces and collect it in a place which they burn in the evening, after that in the evening children's enjoy crackers they buy so many crackers, after that in the night they burn a statue that they made in the day which is filled with grass and crackers, after that they go to their homes and eat food they made special dish on this occasion after that go to sleep. So people of Solan enjoy this festival very much also they gift to each other on this occasion and also give greeting card to their relative. During this festival whole the market is glowing with light all the shopkeepers are buying crackers and greeting card for the Diwali. There are so many shops of sweets are present in which different types of sweets are available. On this occasion people buy different types of sweets and also give to their relative. In the night whole Solan city looks very beautiful blighting with light and light of crackers. But this time cracker is banned between 10 pm to 6 am in the morning so beware about these things.
