This place is about 115 km from the Manali, 188 km from the Kaza and about 380 km from the Leh. This place is connected to other part of the state by Rohtang pass, which is one of the entering gates for this district.

The name of the place was derived from the temple name. Here in this place there is a temple of Triloknath that why it is called Triloknath. This place is about 4 km from Udaipur and famous for both Hindu and Buddhism temples.
